Facing Giants

I’m in a Wednesday morning bible study for men and we discussed the book of Numbers 13-14. It’s a perfect example of how even when we know God is with us, even though that’s what we are taught and what we read, we still doubt that He can lead us to a better life. We discussed how that doubt comes from a fear that develops from the lies and voices we’ve absorbed over time. A good series of questions to ask ourselves are:
1. What is something we’ve avoided doing?
2. Why are we avoiding it?
3. What is the origin of that fear?

I think once we start asking ourselves those questions we’ll discover that the giants we face are nowhere near as big as God.
