From tweens to teens today we look at high school students. Again this is another ministry description of what you can do if you are interested in working with teens (grades 5-12) at Church of the Nativity. Come back each day until this weekend (March 28th/29th) as we let you know the many ways you can impact a teen.
Up Next:Uprising
Uprising is our high school program that takes place on Sunday afternoons from 6:30pm – 7:45pm in the Classroom Wing and Theater. This program is designed to help and guide students into a deeper and personal relationship with Christ through worship (music, drama, games, reflection activities and a message) and brief fellowship interaction.
Crowd Ministers
Crowd ministers for Uprising focus on greeting the students as they arrive for program; making sure new students are connected and returning ones are welcomed back. In this ministry, adults also have the opportunity to plan, lead and facilitate activities for the students. As a crowd minister your main objective is to make sure that students feel connected to the community and are given information (resources, small groups, sacramental prep, etc.) to go deeper into their faith.
