Week 2 of How to Glow in the Dark

Tonight was a good night, especially considering the majority of this city was focused on the Steelers/Raven’s game. The students were into the worship, especially during the music. Erik, did a great job of getting them into worship and for the most part they were engaged. It’s especially great considering the topic is a little heavy.
My main win for the evening was a couple of middle school girls stuck around after program, telling me how they can’t wait to bring their friends to the program next week. Another great win for me was to see the health of the program, a year or two ago a 4pm game (our programs are at 4pm and 6:30pm) would have kept nearly everyone away…you wouldn’t have noticed this week.
