VBS from a Youth Pastor’s Point of View Day 1

There is like a gazillion little kids infesting the building this morning all due to Vacation Bible School’s Crocodile Dock. It’s actually awesome to see, this is probably the first year I’ve been excited for VBS. I have no involvement, well no direct involvement. I helped build some cyprus trees last night and the student ministry is making sure that the middle school and high school students involved know how loved, blessed and appreciated they are by us and God. Student Impact is playing some games with the students like “How’s your Chicken?” and “That’s a Load of Croc!”. We also are encouraging students to sign up for our Twitter Account Upward Ministries to learn about other great news. Anyway, I’ll be hiding in my office, and from time to time make my appearance get to chat with the students. It’s great to see 30+ teens wanting to lead 200+ kids to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
