Taking a Break

Today we have off from the office which is great considering this week and next are a little screwy. After coming back from retreat, then having a 3 day work week in the office, then preparing for a retreat next weekend makes things a little crazy. Having off today gives me a little peace, although, I’ll be painting for most of it. I don’t think things are out control, the summer just has a few busy spots, but for the most part there is plenty of margin to get things done for September.
I’ve been reading this book called Simple Church, which has been emphasizing the importance of keeping things simple, creating a simple message and vision and keeing to that message and vision. I think for the most part we are doing that as a church, we just need to keep working at it.
