How open are you to the plans that God has laid out for you? It’s a simple question but one that can be a challenge to answer. If we listen and allow Him to shape us amazing things can happen. As leaders, we need to be open to the promptings of God and that’s why I really enjoyed my conversation with Corrie Marie (Erskine), my good friend, and guest on Episode 05 of the YM Transfer Podcast. We take the opportunity to talk about her upcoming single Humble Host. (We have a sample at the end of the podcast)
A little more about Corrie:
Corrie Marie is a worship leader, singer/songwriter, speaker, and health coach, who has given her life to making music that frees people to be themselves and be who God made them be. She is married, and a mom to be. When she is not traveling for music, she is at home on her farm with her growing family and pup.
Corrie began leading worship at the age of 12 at her middle school’s Thursday morning chapel. It was there that her faith was nurtured and a spirit of worship cultivated. In high school, she began serving as the musician at her school masses and out of college, she began at her local parish.
Alongside her love of worship is her love of “human music”. Corrie writes her original music with a lens of faith bearing in mind the reality of the human person: there is suffering but we have hope. Corrie’s debut record, [The] Hearth released in August of 2018, featuring her Award Winning Song, “The Potter’s Hand”. Her new single “Humble Host” arrives Friday, April 26th and can be found wherever music is.
