Calling Everyone

Today has been phone calls and emails. I’m trying to recruit high school upperclassmen for Ascent this year. We are looking for seniors and juniors who want to lead a small group of 5th/6th grade boys or girls. It’s hard because if there is one thing I feel that I’m not good at it’s talking on the phone. A little intimidating…and I don’t know why.
I’m also shooting a lot of emails off to leaders trying to mobilize all of our next moves, it’s a little hard to get things together for next week because most of the student ministers are involved in Vacation Bible School and on top of that I have a hike this Friday for Elevate and Confirmation retreat the following, how did things get so busy?
