Beginning Priceless

Last night we kicked off our series Priceless and the format was basic; however, it was something new. We started the evening off with worship, where Erik and the band introduced some new songs:
Enough
Salvation’s Chorus

How Can I Keep From Singing Your Praise

We then had Bob and Jason come out to speak to the students about the mission work we are doing in Nigeria. It was great to have them speak because they shared with the students their journey as students in the youth ministry program at Nativity and being a part of this community has given them great opportunity to serve God in many different ways. It was just great to have them as witnesses to the students and explain to them that Uprising and Resurrection isn’t a youth group, but a chance for them to find purpose and discover a way to make an impact on the world. The whole idea of the evening was to show them a way Nativity is investing in God’s kingdom.
Next week we’ll be getting into the steps they can take in order to further invest themselves into God’s kingdom. The whole series is kind of a circle where we give them a taste of the big picture and then show them how they can get there.
