Youth Ministry the Best Ministry Part #6

From large group, to small group, to one on one, it’s time to talk about involving the students in the church body. This is the last of the 6 ministry descriptions we’ll tell you about before First Serve of what you can do if you are interested in working with teens (grades 5-12) at Church of the Nativity. Come back each day until this weekend (March 28th/29th) as we let you know the many ways you can impact a teen.

Up Next: Student Impact
Student Impact is the name of our program that helps students (7th – 12th grade) get involved in the church body through ministry. This program helps students discover their God given purpose, connect them into a ministry and support them as they learn what it means to be one part of this large church body.

Ministry Guides
Ministry Guides are adult men and women willing to work with students in discovering their God given purpose. As a ministry guide you would guide students through the discernment process at the Student Impact Orientation, communicate with adult ministry leaders in the placement process of students and cheer students on throughout the year. The goal of this ministry position is to make sure that ministry isn’t just volunteering but is an avenue where they can continue to go deeper in their relationship with God.
