Youth Ministry the Best Ministry Part #4

We enjoy a large crowd but there is a lot of life change through one on one relationships, to help students go deeper we try to gather them into small groups. This is yet another ministry description of what you can do if you are interested in working with teens (grades 5-12) at Church of the Nativity. Come back each day until this weekend (March 28th/29th) as we let you know the many ways you can impact a teen.

Up Next: Small Groups
Our youth small group program is available for all students in 7th -12th grade. These groups are designed to help teens build accountable, Christ-like relationships while diving deeper into scripture and teen related subjects. These groups meet for about 1 ½ hours on weeknights at Church of the Nativity.
Small Group Leaders
Youth Small Group leaders are adult men and women in the church who lead a group of 6-8 students (divided by grade and sex). As a small group leader you would lead and facilitate discussions and prayer between students in the group. Your main objective as a small group leader is to encourage students to build accountable Christ-like relationships with their peers. A typical meeting would involve starting off with dinner with other groups, then going to your small group praying together, sharing life (either through curriculum, discussion or activity) and then praying for one another.
