Woke up and came to a ministry leader meeting and this is what I learned about ministry teams:
Read Exodus 18: Jethro tells Moses look for people who are:
- Able – People who have the wisdom and capability to make the decisions.
- God Fearing – People who have a heart after God. Who want to please the Lord and have the courage to do what God is asking them to do.
- Trustworthy & Hate Dishonest Gain – Want to lead for God, no other reason, but for God. A servant’s heart.

Why do we develop ministry leaders? Having ministry leaders share the burden with us and they help us lead more people to where God is calling them.

Trainer – Point Person for Accessibility – First Serve, new ministers, helps getting people on board.
Entry
Encourager – Point Person for Engagement – Enthusiasm for people, positioning by strengths development, wins, thanks
Engage
Administrator – Administrator – Organizational systems, data collection analysis, stats
Effective
Ministry Leader – Keeps the leaders on target. Cast vision. – Mission/Purpose-Driven
