Survival Guide to A Worse-Case Scenario Week 4

Last night was a great evening, had a good bunch of students and you can tell that big things are happening in their relationships with Jesus Christ. Their is fruit blossoming all over the place, but one place that has definitely been exciting has been through the worship lead by Erik at Resurrection. You can tell some of the students get a little tired from standing, so in the past Erik would let them sit while singing; however, recently some of the students have been choosing to stand and engage. I’m not saying that those who are sitting aren’t worshiping, but it’s more obvious that the ones who are standing are engaging in worship. We’ve finally begun to turn the corner where worship is no longer a sing-a-long, but what it is meant to be…worship. There are so many other examples from the past couple of weeks, I hope to share it with you all, but I tell you it is just awesome to see young people accept the Lord in such an organic and relational manner. I’m proud of our students and I know it is such a blessing each day to see them grow in their faith.
