Survival Guide to A Worse-Case Scenario Week 2

Tonight was awesome, we had some new students in both Resurrection and Uprising. When Erik came in today he told me how he feels this is the time to “raise the bar” on the worship. I have to agree with him, we’ve been through a good season of making the music familiar to the students, they recognize it and like it; however, now it’s about turning hearts to focus on worship. The students were very open to the idea, but one thing we agreed on is that this idea needs to be repeated to them.
I love the students and I hope they take the worship more to heart (especially this series) because it is one way that can help us protect our hearts. And tonight we wanted to make sure that they knew “Above all else, guard your heart it is the wellspring of life.” Proverbs 4:23
