Review of Week 2 of It.

Yesterday was a great day in regards to the “It.” (Sex and Dating) teaching series. For the 7th/8th grade students in Resurrection we broke down the fundamentals of a healthy relationship. It gave them a chance to be a little less squirmy because the topic wasn’t so overwhelming. For the high school in Uprising we had a small intimate group due to the fact that the Ravens vs. Steelers game was happening. We looked at a few things God wants us to do when it comes to dating relationships. I think the topic has a lot to do with students interest; however, I’m really starting to see the fruit of the labor that our ministers have been putting towards the program. And I’m seeing how we are connecting with parents. So for now in 2009 and I think we are in a good place.
