Review of Week 2

Week 2 is in the books, the Thursday night thing seems to be working systematically. I would like to see about a month and a half ago I was talking with the Uprising Ministry Leaders and they were discussing their concerns of only have two other ministers on their team. Since then the team has tripled. We still have a while to go before we get the ideal ratio, but right now everything is running smooth.
Like last week we had a good turnout tonight, some returners and a group of new students, but I desire breakthrough, I want to start reaching out to more and more students. And as I write this I find it stupid to believe that Uprising can’t do that. I need to let God work through me and through the ministers, I have to keep turning the wheel of irresistible environments, opportunities and relationships. Three things we need to consistently do are:

1. Feed the Invitation – invite students, invite them back, it doesn’t matter whether or not they know you, invite students.
2. Value the Students – greet them as they come in, make sure they’re hooked up with ministers, get to know the students names. The more they feel loved the more they will come back. You can also value them by creating an environment that is relevant and relaxing.
3. Encourage them to Bring a Friend – get to know their friends and encourage them to introduce you to their friends. You will only meet so many teens, you need students to invite students.
