This weekend’s message is all about the physical path and right now the staff is talking about food, which is making me hungry and I just ate lunch. Here’s a list of some of the things I love to eat:
Deep Fried Pickles (or anything)
Pizza
Doritos
Spinach Artichoke Dip
I know that’s random. But anyway, I’m planning to share with the students my first marathon experience which was 5 years ago. I was so ready to run it but ended up passing out on the 24th mile due to over hydration. It’s amazing when and what we think about when it comes to putting stuff into our bodies, it’s amazing how a tablespoon of honey with cinnamon and cocoa powder can give you more energy than a 20 ounce soda. The challenge with this message is trying to stress the importance of taking care of ones body without coming off preaching about self-image. I know this post is random but that’s how I’m rolling today.
