It’s only a couple of days until we kick off the Lenten Series and I am really excited. We just finished a training for the Youth Leaders, we had three in total and it was a great way to get set for our Lenten series. I’m really happy with how everything has been going in the youth ministry, I’m proud of the leaders we have, the students who are stepping up and the direction that we are heading. There are some frustrations but for the most part after 5 years, I’m happy with where we are and excited for where we are going to go. So I know winter isn’t over yet, but it’s never too early to think about summer. Here are three things on my mind and probably something we will address at the next Youth Leaders meeting we have.
1. Recruiting more ministers for youth ministry.
2. Encouraging Giving
3. Confirmation
Now there are other things on our plate, big things we plan for the future, but right now these are the three things I want to tackle over the summer.
