Some of us get chills when we think about our middle school years. Awkward physical changes and an increase in our insecurities. Do people like us? Are we accepted? It’s a wonder anyone wants to work with such a group, but they do exist and those people are awesome. One of those people, and today’s guest Kristen Fisher, from Youth In Christ spends time chatting with me about the importance of serving middle school students in the local church and homes. Middle school ministry is the glue that holds a church’s future together.
A little bit more about Kristen:
Kristen was a middle school youth minister for 16 years before moving on to Youth In Christ, an organization focused on bringing the Good News of God’s great love to families by giving them tools and opportunities to encounter and share His love in their homes, in their communities, and in the Church. She’s a graduate from Franciscan University with a Bachelors Degree in theology and anthropology, and she left with a heart that was ready to share the Faith in the same way that had changed her own life; youth ministry. Kristen has been married to her husband, Greg, for almost 15 years, and together they are blessed to be raising 4 children.
