Making Church Matter

In a month our church is doing something we’ve never done before…host a conference.  Yeah, it’s a little crazy; but, very exciting at the same time.  We’re calling it matter. because our vision as a church is to make church matter.  While the church is making an impact here and there we’re still seeing people leave church at alarming rates.  It’s become irrelevant in the lives of many and we’re out to change that.  Some of you might wonder why we are undertaking such an event and it really boils down to the fact that we have so much to share and we want to do that with you.  So, what is it that we want to share?

• The Mistakes We’ve Made: There are a lot of them; but, if we hadn’t made them we would never have made progress.  Some were humbling, others were humorous; but in the end we learned from them.  I’m pretty confident to say we hardly make the same mistake twice.
• What We’ve Learned: We read a lot around the office. We study leaders in churches, businesses and in communities.  We listen and study because we value excellence.  Now that our brains are filled up we want to pass it along.
• What We’re Hoping To Do: We’re not afraid to dream big, and we want to share them with you.  While the church has done so much there is so much to get done and we want to invite you to be a part of our journey.

What’s unique about this conference is that it’s coming from the perspective of a local Roman Catholic Church.  It’s not to say we’re the best and most effective, we’re just saying we have a lot to share.  Doesn’t matter if you are Catholic or not we would love for you to check it out.  Visit the following link to learn more and how to register.
