For many of us this a transition moment in our years. Schools are winding down, pools are opening up for the summer and the heat is rising. As the season physically changes so does our ministry, but instead of rushing from one season to the next we need to make sure we:
PAUSE
Whether it’s Memorial Day or a day you plan to take off make sure you pause. A pause will help you enjoy the moments that God is placing in front of your eyes. A pause is an opportunity to be rested and rejuvenated. So here are a few do’s and don’ts to help you find the peace and joy of a transitional pause:

Watch Television
Check Your Email
Think About Ministry
Embark On Huge Home Projects
Sleep The Day Away
DO
Spend Quiet Time With God
Read A Book
Take A Nap
Go For A Walk
Cook Outside On The Grill
