Growing In Ministry

I went away this weekend to West Virginia for a little R&R and it was definitely that. I did think about work but in a good way, I thought about the possibility of organizing a retreat for the leaders in the student ministry. My problem is I don’t know what we would focus on, or the purpose of the retreat besides having everyone spend time together. Now, that’s not that bad of an idea, but I would like to have some team building and ministry learning, I’m just not sure how to go about doing that. This is actually a point of frustration for me, because I use to take the ministers to ministry conferences; however, we stopped, not sure what happened, we just stopped.
In order for the ministers to grow there has to be many levels of ministry for them to grow into. Probably the thing for me to do is identify these levels of ministry and then identify the ministers that need to reach these levels. I guess what I’m suffering from is a lack of vision for the ministers. I’m going to have to revisit the situation.
