Easy as Pie

One thing I’ve been trying to do lately is write down a recipe for a pie that I’m entering into the Pillsbury Bake Off. It’s exciting to actually put this recipe on paper and make sure that it’s understandable, this pie recipe is actually something I just threw together so in a way I’m starting from scratch (pun intended). I’ve only ever adapted family recipes, never really created m own but this is exciting and hard.
As the youth ministry year wraps up (we have two series left to plan) I think about the things I want to accomplish over the summer. It’s refreshing to know that after 5 years of youth ministry that we aren’t doing too many things from scratch. In fact we are at the point all we are doing is tweaking and adapting.
I’m really looking forward to bringing in my ministers on the planning process, I know that they are going to bring this ministry to the next level.
