I’m a big Batman fan, love the comic books, excited when Christopher Nolan resurrected the character with Batman Begins and made us forget how horrible the Joel Schumaker movies were. But anyway, like many people this weekend I saw the Dark Knight, and after thinking about it for two days, the movie is awesome.
This is probably the most disturbing Batman, because it deals with a villain (the Joker) so disturbed all he thinks about is creating chaos. The movie also deals with a number of moral decisions that have to be made by Batman, where in the end you are wondering is Batman really a super hero or is he a vigilante.
The acting is awesome, the story is great, the dialogue, everything was awesome. I would give this movie an A+. It’s probably the best movie I’ve seen in a long time.
Warning for Parents: While the film is only PG-13, I wouldn’t recommend Middle Schoolers seeing it… even with a parent, it might be a little too much for them to handle.
