Today is April 1st, more commonly known as April Fools day, a day where I like to do the usual pranks on people, pick out my prey and make them suffer…actually not quite. I like to pull pranks but I rarely do them on this day, if I do they aren’t planned they are just spontaneous. As a youth pastor I think it’s second nature to do this. Below are three quick easy pranks that I like to pull:
1. Toothpaste Oreos…I’ve done this twice once to my sisters once to another group of volunteers when I was in the Jesuit Volunteer Corp. You essentially take a package of Oreos, wipe out the cream and replace it with toothpaste. The key is to find the worst tasting toothpaste (make sure it’s chilled). Reseal the oreos and leave them out on a plate.
2. Vinegar instead of water…This has been done to me; therefore, it’s been done to others. You simply take white vinear and pour it into a glass with ice, serve at dinner or to someone who is extremely thirsty and watch them gag.
3. I Took Something But I Didn’t…Leave a note on a coworkers desk saying you want to play the game. The game is you took something from their desk and they won’t get it back till they guess what it is…seems simple but works.
Ok these aren’t my favorites, but definitely fun. I like joking around with the students, with no programs tonight (due to Holy Thursday) I won’t get a chance to do anything…but again I don’t leave pranks for April 1st..I still do them on April 1st, but it’s not the only time. If you are reading this and work with me…don’t say I didn’t warn you.
