Advent Conspiracy

I just got this video and at first I was like, “Great another video wanting me to feel bad about how I spent this Christmas.” But in reality it makes a solid point, we do spend a lot during Christmas.
Every year we do have mission efforts through Adopt-A-Family and the Giving Tree program. However, you have to wonder where the line is to spreading the message of Jesus Christ or feeding the commercialism that Christmas has become? As a church we do a great job of this through the message, but you have to wonder how good of a job we are doing through our missions. This isn’t a knock on anything we have done, it’s been great and fruitful, it’s just the question of how can we spread the Gospel better.
