I’m sure a lot of people are blogging about today, and I’m sure it’s on a lot of people’s minds. I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since 9/11/01. I look at the teens in my programs and it’s hard to imagine what this day means to them. The Seniors were only 10/11 when it happened and then the 5th and 6th graders were about 3-5 years old. For me I was only 20, but the day is cemented in my mind. A day like this reminds me of how much the world we live in has changed and how hard we need to work to bring Christ into people’s lives. So many people out there need to feel God’s unending love and right now they are focused on everything else.
I pray that we remember the friends and family we lost on September 11th, 2001; but, remember that God is always with us.
